Senior Lawyer

Mathias in part of Schjødt's Finance department, and specializes in insolvency law. He has experience with advising and representing local and international companies in distress situations and restructuring proceedings. He also has experience in handling in-court insolvency proceedings such as reconstructions, bankruptcies and liquidations.

Mathias also specializes in insolvency related litigation proceedings, and has experience working with directors & officers liability claims and claw-back claims.

Mathias joined Schjødt in 2020 after working for EY. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bergen and Stavanger. Mathias received the Norwegian Advisory Council on Bankruptcy's scholarship for his master thesis on board and director's liability in financially distressed situations.
