Markus Piuk is a partner at Schoenherr and an experienced corporate/M&A lawyer. He has been instrumental in the development of the firm's network in South-East Europe, where he currently runs the local corporate/M&A practices in several jurisdictions. Markus is a transactional lawyer with a strong track record in Austria and in Central Eastern Europe. He is particularly experienced in coordinating complex multi-jurisdictional matters. He advised buyers and sellers on a considerable number of cross-border and local M&A transactions (share- and asset-deals), joint ventures, corporate restructurings, loan portfolio sales and capital markets projects. Markus' client portfolio spans a variety of sectors, such as energy, financial services, private equity, manufacturing, automotive, IT&C, real estate, retail etc. Markus is a member of the Austrian, Romanian, Moldovan, Bulgarian, Croatian and Liechtenstein bar associations
