Manek Palekar is a Legal Consultant and an Advocate based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for over past 32 years. His practice areas include Civil/Criminallitigation & Arbitration, and matters relating to Commercial Transactions.

Manek has rich and an extensive experience of working both as an in-house legal counsel as well as a practicing lawyer and legal consultant and is therefore better equipped to understand client requirements from a commercial and business owner’s perspective.

Manek is registered with the Government of Dubai – Legal affairs Department as a legal consultant authorized to practice UAE law. He is also registered as an advocate in Dubai International Financial Centre

• Resolving a contractual dispute in relation to a project partly executed by client and simultaneously securing payment & continuity in project’s execution.
• Successfully representing the 49% shareholder of an MNC against a move for control by the hostile majority shareholder.
• Structuring the ownership, management, and succession of a GCC based retail group valued at approx. USD 5 Billion.
• Assisting & salvaging the business and operations of a well-known company by restructuring a debt of approx. AED 1.8 Billion.
