Bo Schmidt Pedersen specialises in construction law and procurement law, in particular construction and procurement for the Danish Armed Forces. Bo's clients are mainly public employers. Bo has previously worked as an advisor to contractors and technical consultants. It means that Bo understands and has extensive insight into the points of view that the employer meets in a construction law context. This unique experience enables Bo to always consider an issue from many different angles. Bo specialises in providing advice in the cross field between procurement law and construction law, and he has experienced good synergies by linking the procurement process and its organisation with the subsequent design and build phase. Bo has thus developed extensive experience in providing advice in all stages of the procurement process. Bo handles all types of matters in construction law. He offers advice about procurement and contracting, about issues arisen in the course of construction and the handling of constructions disputes, including arbitration. Bo has extensive experience in construction tenders, both in their traditional form and in the diverse cooperation forms developed in the field of construction. Bo has also assisted with a wide range of design contests under the Public Procurement Directive. In addition, Bo is a member of several associations such as the Danish Society for Construction and Consulting Law and the Framework Condition Committee under the auspices of the Danish Association of Construction Clients and Danish Procurement Law Association.
