Sune is one of Denmark's most experienced and recognised public law attorneys. For more than 35 years, he has advised public bodies in matters where the law is complex, the stakeholders many and the consequences great. In particular, he provides assistance in critical matters where there is a need for legal precision, a strategic overview and an understanding of the administrative and political landscape in which decisions are made. Sune's advice combines deep legal knowledge with a pragmatic approach to solutions. Sune provides advice on how to handle big related cases and related cases of general public importance, decisions and investigations with potential public or political attention and with a risk of litigation. His primary practice areas are complex administrative law and constitutional law issues, including compulsory acquisition, liability in damages and compliance, e-government, human rights, municipal law, climate and green transition. Sune has conducted more than 75 cases before the Danish Supreme Court in the field of public law, and over the years he has been an advisor in a significant number of complex cases and cases of general public importance on behalf of state, regional and municipal authorities. In particular, he has provided assistance in cases where litigation or other control is likely or such risk is likely. His advisory services range from legal assessments and assistance with decisions to structure procedures, preparatory legislative work and development of rules.
