Thomas Christian Thune advises private and public businesses and authorities on industrial relations law and individual labour and employment law, including in particular in connection with M&As. Thomas is also very experienced in advising businesses on work permits and residence permits for employees. Thomas has advised on labour and employment law for more than 20 years, and he advises both Danish and foreign employers on all employee matters. Thomas is a trusted advisor to both Danish and international businesses on all aspects of employment law and business immigration with a special focus on terminations of employment, employments, M&As, mass redundancies, competition matters and negotiations. In that connection Thomas provides advice on all employment law issues including agreements on secondment, incentive schemes, competition clauses and severance agreements. Thomas also advises on day-to-day employment law issues including in relation to illness, holidays, working hours and health and safety at work. Moreover, Thomas has in-depth knowledge of M&As and business law, making Thomas a trusted advisor when it comes to the employment law aspects of transactions and M&As. Thomas is very experienced in industrial relations law where he assists businesses in negotiating and interpreting matters relating to collective agreements including formation of workplace agreements and assistance in negotiations with trade organisations. Finally, Thomas has broad experience as an instructor in a wide range of labour and employment law subjects. In recent years, Thomas has taught courses in the new Danish Holiday Act, harassment and harassment issues, work permits and residence permits for employees and termination of employment due to illness. Thomas also gives presentations on general employment and labour law updates.
