Ciara Ryan graduated from University College Cork (BCL and LLM) between 2001 and 2002 and qualified in 2009. She is currently a Partner at McCann FitzGerald LLP. Ciara is an experienced litigation and dispute resolution lawyer who advises public and private sector clients across property disputes, landlord and tenant matters, Commercial Court litigation, licensing law, and administrative law.

She specialises in commercial property disputes, acting for both landlords and tenants, and has significant High Court experience, including property funds litigation and broader property-related disputes. She also advises on post-consent phases of infrastructure projects, particularly statutory land acquisition.

In addition, Ciara advises owners and operators on licensing law, including licence transfers in landlord and tenant contexts and insolvency scenarios involving liquidators, receivers, or examiners. She has also recently advised clients in relation to Commissions of Investigation.
