Brendan Murphy graduated from University College Cork (BCLF) in 2005 and University College London (LLM) in 2006. He qualified as a solicitor in 2010, having joined McCann FitzGerald LLP in 2007 as a Trainee. He was appointed Partner in 2017. Brendan advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, alternative capital investment strategies and joint-ventures.

Brendan has significant experience acting in relation to large scale loan sale transactions, both on the vendor and purchaser side. Having previously worked in the firm’s Finance group, Brendan is also in a position to leverage his experience in advising both lenders and borrowers in corporate and property finance transactions.
