Sarah Pickering graduated from National Univeristy Ireland, Galway (LLB) and qualified in 2015. She is currently an Of Counsel at McCann FitzGerald LLP. Sarah is a finance and debt capital markets lawyer with extensive experience advising leading domestic and international financial institutions, non-bank lenders, and corporates. Her practice is distinguished by its breadth across asset classes and her ability to navigate complex, multi-layered financing structures, spanning a broad range of products, including corporate borrowing, structured finance, securitisation, corporate bonds, real estate finance, digital infrastructure finance, and loan-on-loan financings.

She has advised on complex and high-profile transactions across multiple sectors, including a Irish State-owned body. Her experience includes advising a global investment bank on Irish private mortgage-backed securitisation transactions. In addition, she has advised a financial institution on matters relating to its asset-backed commercial paper programme.
