Colm Fanning graduated from University College Dublin (B.Comm) in 1990 and qualified in 1995. He has been a Partner at McCann FitzGerald LLP since 2001 practising in the firm's Projects & Infrastructure Group. Handles a range of general banking and financial work, advising on project finance, PPPs, asset finance, corporate banking and structured finance.

Colm has worked extensively on several major infrastructure project financings in Ireland. Advises public authorities, bidding consortia and funders in PPP competitions and projects in sectors, including roads, rail, waste, health, energy and renewables, culture, education and technology.
