Filip De Preter is part of the Regulatory Practice Group.

Filip is a widely recognised specialist in permitting procedures and spatial planning, with 28 years of experience guiding projects through complex approval processes across the entire Flemish Region.

He provides strategic support from the earliest project concept through the full administrative procedure, including representation in case of legal challenges before the courts and assistance with any issues arising after the permit has been granted.

His expertise covers all aspects related to permitting, including environmental impact assessment, regulatory procedures, zoning and land-use regulations, nature protection requirements, and stakeholder management.

Filip has a law degree from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven 1997) and a postgraduate degree in law and management of information and communication technologies from the University of Namur (FUNDP 1998).

Filip joined Liedekerke in 1998.
