Jasper Bossuyt is Partner in the Tax Practice, focusing on Belgian and international tax advisory, transactional and litigation work.

Jasper specialises in Belgian and international tax law. He advises a broad spectrum of clients on tax matters, including companies and private individuals as well as non-profit organisations and public bodies. His work covers a wide range of sectors and includes day-to-day tax advisory, tax structuring and planning, and the tax aspects of M&A, financing and reorganisation transactions. He also represents clients in tax audits and disputes before the Belgian tax authorities and courts.

Jasper studied law at KU Leuven (2012), Tilburg University (2012) and Duke University (2011). He holds an LL.M. in taxation from Université Libre de Bruxelles and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School as a Fulbright and Harvard BOAS scholar. He was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School in 2016. In 2020, he obtained a Ph.D. on tax treaty interpretation at KU Leuven.

Jasper is also a research fellow affiliated with the Institute of Tax Law at KU Leuven, where he has lectured on corporate and international taxation (Brussels campus). He regularly publishes in national and international journals and books and has received various recognitions in this respect. He has authored books on tax treaty interpretation and on the income tax aspects of royalties.
