Career

Jacob Ølgaard specialises in corporate and foundations law, mergers and acquisitions, complex transactions and contractual obligations.

Jacob provides legal advice to both commercial and non-commercial foundations, covering various aspects of foundation law. His expertise includes assisting with foundation establishment, organisational matters, capital structure, charter amendments, and addressing supervisory authority-related issues.

Jacob also provides advice to other non-profit organisations governed by special legislation.

In addition, Jacob is an experienced adviser on association law, cooperative law and corporate law, including corporate restructuring and corporate governance.

Jacob has extensive experience with international transactions, such as joint venture agreements and turnkey contracts. Consequently, he advises various Danish and international clients on business transfers and private equity investments, including their planning of transaction processes, legal due diligence investigations, and drafting and negotiation of transaction documents.

As knowledge ambassador in the field of corporate and foundation law, Jacob contributes actively to Kromann Reumert's knowledge management work, including drafting and updating templates, writing articles, and giving internal and external lectures.
