Career

Carol joined the firm in 2024 when OCWM Law merged with Holmes.  She qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and was previously a partner in a global law firm.  She works in the Commercial Property department.

Carol has extensive experience acting for local authorities, regulated property funds, property developers, alternative lenders and landlords and tenants of retail, industrial and office spaces, asset managers and insolvency practitioners.

She has significant expertise in a broad range of commercial property transactions such as acquisition of lands by CPO, advising on the disposal of a substantial industrial property portfolio by a regulated fund; disposals of industrial lands; consent applications; acquisition of properties to meet housing requirements and advising on property related issues on planning and strategic infrastructure projects.

Carol also has expertise in acting for both landlords and tenants on commercial leases of office, retail and industrial properties and planning matters, having recently advised a developer on various elements of its application to An Bord Pleanála for planning permission to build a Strategic Housing Development.   She has also acted for a property fund on the disposal of a development site which was subject to complex litigation and contributes extensively to the real estate aspects of M&A transactions.
