Terry joined Holmes in 1999.  He specialises in insurance litigation and dispute resolution.

Specialising in personal injury defence litigation, Terry has extensive experience of acting for insurers in the defence of motor, public liability and employer liability claims.  He has practised in this area for nearly 30 years in both the Circuit and High Courts and he has acquired considerable knowledge and expertise in the area.  Terry manages a large caseload, advising clients on liability issues, damages and strategy and negotiating settlement of legal costs, with a view to achieving best possible outcomes for his clients.

With particular experience of dealing with cases involving fraud, he has successfully defended a number of claims which have either been dismissed or withdrawn.  He acts for a number of major international insurance companies based in Ireland.
