Career

Michael is a Consultant Solicitor and joined the firm in 2016, after he retired from his partnership with Eugene F. Collins Solicitors in Dublin where he had been a Partner since 1975.

Michael has vast experience in commercial property, professional negligence and dispute resolution.   He deals with all types and stages of property transactions for both corporate and private clients.

Michael has acted as arbitrator in more than 160 domestic arbitrations and in four international arbitrations under appointment by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Frequently called upon to act as an expert witness in property related disputes, Michael has been engaged by solicitors (acting for plaintiffs and defendants) as an independent expert in some 170 cases, including cases involving professional negligence or misconduct allegations against solicitors.
