Andreas Hertel specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a particular focus on private equity and large corporate transactions. He advises Danish and international clients on all aspects of M&A, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, demergers, restructurings, governance, portfolio management and dispute resolution over transactions. He also advises on venture capital transactions, particularly those involving private equity funds.

Andreas has extensive experience across a range of sectors, including industrials, technology, finance (including fintech) and life sciences. Drawing on his deep industry knowledge and broad transactional experience, Andreas provides advice on challenging and substantial matters involving acquisitions, investments, divestments, mergers and restructurings to both private equity funds and industrial companies. He has for many years served as an external lecturer in corporate and securities law at the University of Copenhagen, further cementing his standing as a leading expert in the field.
