She is a lawyer specializing in Public and Regulatory Law. She is currently part of the Public Law Department of Gómez – Acebo & Pombo. Previously, she has worked for international firms. For her career as a lawyer, she has been recognized in Legal 500, being listed as a Leading Associate in Environmental Law since 2021. At an academic level, Helena Villena has been a professor of Comparative Administrative Law within Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programs at IE University since September 2021.
