Julien David is a partner in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, particularly cross-border transactions involving listed and unlisted companies, and strategic alliances (joint ventures).

It operates in France, Morocco and a number of jurisdictions in sub-Saharan Africa, in all types of sectors (energy, infrastructure, transport, financial services).

In Africa, Julien has advised TotalEnergies on the IPO of its subsidiary Total Maroc on the Casablanca Stock Exchange and on strategic transactions, Eramet on Meridiam's acquisition of a stake in Setrag (Gabon), Société Nationale d'Opérations Pétrolières de la Côte d'Ivoire, a state-owned company, in connection with the construction of a liquefied natural gas supply infrastructure in consortium with international groups, and the HeidelbergCement group in connection with several investment operations in various African jurisdictions.

Julien is a graduate of HEC business school and holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Business Law (Sceaux - Paris-Sud XI). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1999.
