Partner Giuseppe Rumi specialises in banking and insurance regulation, with focus on extraordinary operations, audits, compliance assessments, authorisation, inspection and sanction procedures, review of prudential supervision, corporate governance and internal organisation policies, insolvency proceedings involving supervised undertakings.

He is also adept at handling regulatory aspects of major takeovers, combinations and reorganisation operations in Italy; he advises on reform of governance and audit investigations, following the renewal of corporate boards or at the initiative of supervisory authorities, as well as on capital restructuring processes and reorganisation of supervised undertakings following implementation of the new European single supervisory mechanism.

He is leader of the Banks Focus Team and a member of the Corporate Compliance & Investigations Focus Team.
