Notary - Partner

As a civil law notary, Karen specialises in legal entities and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, (cross-border) reorganisations, as well as advising particularly large and medium-sized companies and non-profit institutions on their corporate structure and governance, including the structure regime. She was chairman of the board of Dirkzwager for many years, board member of our international partnership TELFA, including in the position of President. She was a member of the Combined Committee on Company Law which committee advises on behalf of the Royal Notarial Association (KNB) and the Bar Association on draft legislation in the field of company law. Karen was appointed as a KNB board member with effect from 1 October 2024. She was named Notary of the Year 2020 at the KNB's annual conference.
