Joost Becker heads the IP/IT practice group at Dirkzwager. His daily practice focuses on soft IP litigation: trademarks and tradename law, domain name disputes and internet law. Joost also specialises in design rights, copyright, image rights, slavish imitation cases. He also deals with matters relating to misleading advertising, comparative advertising, unfair trading practices and press publications.

Joost provides advice and help with procedural and contract work to a wide range of enterprises, from multi-nationals to SMEs. He regularly lectures (University of Groningen) on IP and litigation and writes about these subjects on websites and in professional journals.
