Position

Counsel Tuomas Tiensuu advises international and domestic investors and companies in transactions, investments and projects with a particular focus on real estate, natural resources and energy & infrastructure law. He is known for his outstanding project management skills, commercial acumen and strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.

His work is particularly focused on large and complex transactions and projects involving real estate and energy & infrastructure assets. Tuomas Tiensuu  regularly advises our clients in both portfolio and large single asset real estate transactions in a variety of asset classes, including commercial, forest, office, logistics, industrial and public use properties. He has an outstanding track record of supporting clients on M&A transactions regarding energy, natural resources, and green transition projects and businesses. Tuomas’ practice also includes general corporate law, regulatory and construction matters beyond transactional advice.

Tuomas Tiensuu graduated from the University of Helsinki and holds a LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School, where he was recognised for his superior academic achievement. He has also worked as a visiting lawyer at Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf, Germany.
