José Goyburu heads the Finance practice at the Lima office. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions and project finance transactions.

He is also an expert in capital markets and wealth management. He has participated in several of the most significant and sophisticated local and international transactions.

Prior to joining Cuatrecasas, he worked at a leading law firm in Lima. He also held positions in the legal departments of leading financial institutions in Lima. Throughout his career, he has participated in complex local and multijurisdictional transactions.

He is a member of the Callao Bar Association.
