Senior Associate in the Litigation and Healthcare Departments

Niamh is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Healthcare Department. She advises public bodies and private practitioners in relation to the defence of complex and high value clinical negligence claims.  Niamh has extensive experience in guiding clinical practitioners  through regulatory investigations and fitness to practise proceedings. She acts for practitioners and hospitals at Inquests and provides advice in respect of the coronial process. She also advises clients in respect of a broad range of legal and ethical challenges that medical practitioners face.

Prior to joining CKT, Niamh trained and worked in the Healthcare Department at a leading Dublin law firm.  She also worked as legal counsel in a professional indemnity provider.

Niamh qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and holds a BCL(Clinical) from University College Cork.
