Luca advises Italian and foreign clients on extraordinary transactions, corporate, commercial and contract law issues in various industries. Luca has also gained particular experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry sectors and has completed some important buy and build processes in these sectors. He is responsible for the Practice Area ‘Healthcare & Life Sciences’ aimed at coordinating the Firm's various sectoral expertise relevant to these markets.

Luca Liistro joined the Firm as a trainee in 2001, and became a Partner in 2013. Since 2024, he has been Head of the ‘Transactions’ Department and the ‘Healthcare & Life Sciences’ Practice Area. After obtaining his LL.M. in New York, he was a Foreign Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP in New York from 2006-2007. He worked in the firm's New York office in the years between 2007 and 2009.
