Márton is a highly experienced competition lawyer who has been active in all fields of regulatory law for well over a decade. He worked for the Hungarian Competition Authority in Budapest and the European Commission Directorate General for Competition in Brussels for more than eight years. Marton participated and acted as a leading investigator in several high-profile cartel and abuse of dominance cases . He is also a long-serving member of the Supervisory Board of the Hungarian Competition Law association.

Márton is the author of many articles and research papers and a co-author of books on competition law.
