Italo Ellul is a lawyer and partner at EMD Malta. He obtained his Doctorate in Law (LL.D.) from the University of Malta and was called to the Bar in 2000.

With over 25 years of experience, Italo specialises in corporate, commercial, and real estate law. He primarily advises corporate clients on both local and cross-border matters, including complex legal disputes, and represents them before various fora as required.

Prior to joining EMD Malta, Italo spent several years in private practice at one of Malta’s leading law firms, where he developed extensive expertise in both contentious and non-contentious corporate and commercial matters.
