Dr. Pierre Mifsud read for a Doctorate and Masters in law at the University of Malta and has been practising law since 1999 with a focus on corporate and financial services law as well as private clients. Pierre has been a partner at EMD since the year 2000.

He has assisted a number of financial services companies, electronic money institutions and payment institutions to obtain MFSA authorisation and more recently crypto-asset service providers with MiCA authorisation.   Pierre has also assisted a number of HNW individuals to take up local residence and has also assisted family offices in setting up local operations.  He is also a director on EMD’s trust and advisory companies.

Pierre lectures Company Law and Commercial Law on a part-time basis at the University of Malta.
