Maria Kloni

Counsel Maria is a counsel at the Firm which she joined in 2020. She has substantial advisory, litigation and transactional experience in all aspects of individual and collective employment law.  Maria advises on restructurings, voluntary exit schemes, TUPE, outsourcing, redundancies and company collective labour agreements. She also conducts due diligence in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Maria assists human resources, payroll and legal departments on the management of employment relationships, employment, secondment, services and senior executives’ agreements, termination and amicable separation agreements, internal work regulations and company policies. Maria also advises on disciplinary issues, equality, employee mobility including postings and secondments of EU/EEA and third country nationals, pensions, benefits and incentive schemes.
Fotis Bregiannis

Fotis Bregiannis

Associate Fotis is an associate with the Firm and a member of the Employment team. He advises on a wide range of employment law matters, including documenting employment contracts for all levels of personnel. Fotis advises on compliance with the complex employment legislation and regulations imposed on employers and their employees and managing the associated risks. Fotis also advises on terms and conditions of employment, employment related policies,  recruitment and dismissals, as well as remuneration, pensions and benefits packages and social security issues. He participates in employment due diligence in the context of financial, corporate and commercial transactions.

  • - CNH Industrial Acquisition of Augmenta Group Within the context of CNH Industrial’s acquisition of Augmenta Group, we advised on employment law matters and technology transfer issues in relation to employee created software.
  • - Collective Redundancies In the context of an international restructuring of an IT Technology Group of Companies, we advised on the implementation of collective redundancies of the Greek subsidiary.
  • - Advice on Whistleblowing and Reporting of Breaches We advise an international technology solutions and software provider in relation to employment matters and compliance of its global policies with local law requirements, including data privacy and whistleblowing requirements following the enactment of legislation incorporating in Greece the EU Whistleblowing Directive for the reporting of EU law breaches.
