Miguel Rodrigues Leal is a professional partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2025, working mainly in the areas of Banking and Finance.

Miguel has a wide experience advising investors, debtors, and financing entities in diverse activities, including transactions in real estate finance, corporate finance, project finance, infrastructure, private debt, restructurings, non-performing loans acquisitions, and bond issues.

He has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions and joint venture deals in regulated sectors and regularly advises institutions in regulatory matters, especially in the sectors of financial services, payment services, and securities law.

He joined Abreu from another law firm where he worked in the Lisbon and London offices and was one of the heads of the Banking and Finance practice in Lisbon.
