Career

Ana Panão is an associated partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2017, working in the area of Intellectual Property.

Ana represents clients in judicial courts on matters of intellectual property rights, in particular industrial  property rights, such as trademarks, designs and patents. She advises companies in various sectors on the various private industrial property and copyright rights. She advises clients in the administrative procedure phase of registering industrial property rights at INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property) and in the judicial phase relating to the granting and challenging of these rights.

Ana focuses her activity on litigation involving trademarks, designs, patents and copyright infringement. She also has extensive experience in advising during the pre-litigation stage concerning the protection of industrial property rights.

She is an Arbitrator at ARBITRARE – Arbitration Centre for Industrial Property, Domain Names, Trade Names and Corporate Names.
