Senior Counsel

André is a senior counsel in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices. With more than 10 years of experience, he specialises in corporate finance, banking and capital markets regulation, bank resolution, debt restructuring and fintech.

He advises credit institutions, international financial companies and fintechs on banking and financial regulatory law, M&A transactions in the banking and financial sector and cross-border financings. He also advises investors and service providers on crypto assets.

André holds a master's degree in legal and financial sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and an LL.M. in international business law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on fintech and banking regulation topics and has taught at various undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the same topics.

André has a master's in legal and financial sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and an LLM in international business law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
