André is a partner in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices and has more than 10 years' experience. He specialises in corporate finance, banking and capital markets regulation, bank resolution, debt restructuring and fintech.

He advises credit institutions, international financial companies and fintechs on banking and financial regulation, M&A transactions in the banking and financial sector, and cross-border financings. He also advises investors and service providers on crypto-assets.

André holds a master's degree in law and finance from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and an LL.M. in international business law from Católica Lisbon School of Law.

He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on fintech and banking regulation and has taught on various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in these areas.
