Senior counsel

Joana is a senior counsel in the Banking and Finance practice and she has more than 8 years’ experience focusing on corporate, financial, foreign investment, trade and international contracts, real estate and public procurement.

She regularly acts for companies in Angola in various sectors of activity and she has worked on due diligence processes in their different areas of activity. In addition, she advises on private investment projects and processes to grant land rights.

Joana completed the curricular part of the master’s in law and financial markets at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa / Nova Information Management School.

Before joining PLMJ, she was trainee lawyer and an associate at HAAG - Sociedade de Advogados.
