Senior counsel

Rita is a senior counsel in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices. With more than 10 years' professional experience, she advises clients in the banking and financial sector on regulatory and compliance matters.

She has a master's degree in corporate legal sciences from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and she attended an advanced postgraduate course in banking law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Rita returned to PLMJ in 2022 after working as a lawyer in the Prudential Supervision Department of Banco de Portugal.
