Position

Dominik Pauly is a Partner in the Finance & Capital Markets and Restructuring & Insolvency practices of Arendt & Medernach . He has a particular focus on special situations, lending and financial restructurings.

He advises banks, debt funds, alternative lenders, investors and corporate borrowers on complex financing and restructuring transactions, including distressed debt investments, liability management exercises, recapitalisations, rescue financings, security enforcement and cross-border debt restructurings.

Dominik regularly assists clients in financially stressed and distressed situations, combining financing and restructuring expertise to deliver pragmatic and commercially focused solutions. His experience includes the structuring and implementation of innovative Shareholding as a Service solutions in complex special situations, supporting consensual and non-consensual restructurings, value preservation strategies and coordinated exit processes.

In addition, he advises on syndicated lending, acquisition finance and real estate finance transactions.

Career

Before joining Arendt & Medernach in 2020, Dominik spent more than seven years with a leading international law firm in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he advised lenders, sponsors and corporate borrowers on complex financing transactions, special situations and financial restructurings.
