Partner in the Corporate and Foreign Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions practices at TozziniFreire, Carlos has worked as leading counsel in several of the most significant transactions in the Brazilian capital markets in recent years. Through his relationships with issuers, coordinators, and regulatory authorities, he has expanded his practice to the mergers and acquisitions and private equity areas. Silvia has extensive experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring, as well as in the wealth and estate planning area and in the Agribusiness sector. Silvia worked as a foreign associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind & Garrison LLP from September 2011 to July 2012. She is a graduate of the Law School of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, holds a specialized degree in Corporate Law from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo), an LL.M. degree from Northwestern University School of Law, USA, and took the Wealth and Estate Planning program of the Law School of FGV-SP (Fundação Getulio Vargas de São Paulo).
