Submission Criteria

The Legal 500 UK ESG Awards 2024 will comprise 45 categories and are open to everyone in the profession, including large UK firms, international firms operating in multiple jurisdictions with offices in the UK, boutique law firms, alternative legal services providers, in-house teams, chambers and offshore firms in the UK.

For the practice area awards, please only submit matters that were handled by UK-based lawyers – either offshore or onshore – over the 12 months from October 2022 to October 2023.

Please ensure submissions include: 

• Press contact and email address 

• Name and email address for nominated individuals 
• Body text (max 600 words) explaining how you meet the specific criteria of the chosen award category 
• Client testimony where appropriate 
• We will assume that all information supplied to us may be published unless you indicate clearly otherwise. 

Please feel free to submit in as many categories as you wish. Entries can be made via here.

Entries open Thursday 5th October 2023.  

The closing date for nominations is Thursday 30 November 2023. 

A large and hugely experienced editorial team handles the shortlisting process, headed up by our Head of Global Research and Reporting, Georgina Stanley. 

Shortlisted firms will be announced in January 2024. The winners will be selected from the shortlists by our own judging panel, comprising The Legal 500 editorial team.
