Bai Lin is the Founder, Director, and Managing Partner of Beijing Rongying Law Firm.

Mr. Bai specializes in complex commercial dispute resolution, representing domestic and international clients in arbitration, litigation, enforcement, and investigation proceedings on an ongoing basis. He has extensive hands-on experience in the private equity and venture capital sectors, having provided legal services to top-tier investment institutions both in China and abroad over the past years. In addition, Mr. Bai serves key clients in industries such as new energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, international trade, advanced manufacturing, and real estate.

Mr. Bai has particular expertise in cross-border matters. In 2018, he was named to the "National Thousand Foreign-Related Lawyers" list by the Ministry of Justice of China. He has handled numerous cross-border litigation and arbitration cases that have received industry awards and extensive media coverage. These cases primarily involve intellectual property protection, unfair competition, cross-border equity investments, corporate control disputes, and financial fraud.

Mr. Bai has also achieved notable success in international arbitration, having represented Chinese companies and individuals in numerous overseas arbitration proceedings and hearings, earning him praise from clients and respect of his professional peers. He has been retained as a Chinese law expert witness in dozens of cross-border cases, providing specialized opinions to foreign arbitral tribunals and courts.

Following a distinguished career spanning many years at multiple premier law firms in the market, Mr. Bai founded Rongying Law Firm in April 2021 and has served as its Managing Partner to date. In a short period, Rongying has gained significant market recognition as a rapidly growing dispute resolution boutique firm, demonstrating strong capabilities and distinctive strengths in handling complex and challenging cases, including multidisciplinary experience, rapid response capacity, pragmatic and efficient work styles, and extensive local and international resources. Under Mr. Bai’s leadership, Rongying remains committed to the long-term principles of diligently training young lawyers and actively contributing to social welfare, with fruitful outcomes already achieved on both fronts.

Mr. Bai graduated from Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Duke University. He has translated and co-authored several professional works on cross-border dispute resolution practice.

Mr. Bai currently serves as an arbitrator at the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA).
