Labour in Honduras

Ulloa & Asociados

Ulloa & Asociados has a diverse labour practice, spanning both contentious and advisory matters, and which acts for an array of domestic companies and Honduran subsidiaries of international corporations. The ‘diligent’ and ‘knowledgeable’ team routinely advises on individual employment contracts and the labour law aspects of company restructurings and liquidations, as well as conducting labour audits, and representing employers in collective bargaining negotiations, and in inspections by the Ministry of Labour and Social Services. On the contentious front, the department covers both administrative and judicial proceedings. Managing partner Marielena Ulloa, who has comprehensive expertise in labour law (including corporate immigration matters), steers the practice. Other key contacts include litigation coordinator Francisco Pineda and labour and employment coordinator Gabriela Oliva.
