The UK Legal 500 Solicitors guide 2027 will publish in autumn 2026 – below is an explanation of all of the most significant changes for this year’s research, which are also highlighted in red in the practice list at the bottom of this page.

Changes – UK Regions and Offshore Britain

This year, we have introduced two new sections to the UK regions coverage.

The Northern Ireland rankings will now include a Family table to recognise the work handled by firms in this space.

We have also added an Employee/union section to the Yorkshire coverage, replicating the ranking that already exists in the North West, to highlight the firms in the region representing employees and unions.

We have also renamed the Commercial property tables in Jersey and Guernsey to Real estate to expand the coverage to also include work done relating to a wider variety of asset classes, including residential properties.
