Established in 2013, Mylonas Law was founded with a vision to redefine the way legal services are delivered in Cyprus. We are not a traditional law firm but a dynamic legal and strategic advisory partner for our clients. Our approach combines deep legal expertise with commercial understanding, offering bespoke advice across corporate, commercial, private equity, shipping, energy, real estate, and international tax.

Which practices do you see growing in the next 12 months? What are the drivers behind that?
We anticipate continued growth across our corporate, private equity, shipping, energy, and real estate practices. Cyprus is increasingly becoming a preferred jurisdiction for international companies establishing their headquarters or relocating their tax residency to the island, driven by its stable legal system, favourable tax regime, and strategic geographical location.
At the same time, Cyprus is undergoing significant transformation in sectors such as shipping, renewable energy, and real estate development. Our firm is deeply involved in advising clients on vessel registration, ship finance, and complex cross-border transactions, as well as structuring real estate investments that attract institutional and private investors seeking secure and profitable opportunities.
We also see steady growth in relocation and residency planning, as more high-net-worth individuals and multinational companies choose Cyprus as a European base for their families and operations. The combination of lifestyle, tax efficiency, and legal certainty continues to position Cyprus as a leading jurisdiction for long-term strategic investment.
What’s the main change you’ve made in the firm that will benefit clients?
Our firm has evolved into a multidisciplinary legal and advisory platform. Beyond legal advice, clients seek clarity, speed, and strategic insight. To meet these needs, Mylonas Law has built long-standing collaborations with professionals and firms across Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia, ensuring that our clients benefit from seamless cross-border support.

Is technology changing the way you interact with your clients, and the services you can provide them?
Technology has become essential in how we work and communicate. It allows us to operate more efficiently and maintain direct, immediate contact with our clients, regardless of geography. Can you give us a practical example of how you have helped a client to add value to their business?
We have successfully structured and negotiated complex M&A and private equity transactions, guided developers through real estate and energy projects, and advised technology and blockchain companies on cross-border investment. In several cases, we have managed to secure and structure projects for our clients generating returns exceeding 20 percent per annum, combining strong legal frameworks with commercially sound deal-making.
