As two best friends who founded this firm, we understand the importance of trust, mutual respect, and shared values in both personal and professional relationships. Which practices do you see growing in the next 12 months? What are the drivers behind that?
In the next 12 months, we foresee significant growth in our M&A practice, particularly in sectors such as RES (renewable energy sources), ESG (environmental, social, and governance), and information technology. The increasing global emphasis on sustainability is driving M&A activity in the renewable energy sector, with businesses looking to adapt and invest in greener solutions. Alongside this, the growing importance of ESG factors is prompting companies to seek legal guidance on corporate responsibility, compliance, and sustainable business practices. Furthermore, we anticipate a rise in M&A transactions within the information technology sector, driven by rapid technological advancements, digital transformation, and the increasing need for businesses to innovate and stay competitive. At PS LEGAL, we are excited to be at the forefront of these trends and prepared to guide our clients through the evolving landscape in these high-growth areas.
What’s the main change you’ve made in the firm that will benefit clients?
We believe that time is the most valuable asset for our clients. To ensure we provide the most efficient service possible, we have made a key change in the way we operate by streamlining our internal processes and minimizing unnecessary administration. This allows us to focus on delivering faster, more effective solutions. We also prioritize staying at the forefront of technological advancements, ensuring that we implement the latest tools and innovations to enhance our services. Is technology changing the way you interact with your clients, and the services you can provide them?
Absolutely. Technology is playing a crucial role in how we engage with clients, enabling smoother and more efficient communication. We leverage digital tools for secure document sharing, virtual meetings, and ongoing case tracking, ensuring that clients have real-time updates on their matters. Technology also allows us to automate certain routine tasks, which frees up our time to focus on more complex legal issues and gives clients the benefit of a more responsive service. Furthermore, data analytics and AI tools are helping us to anticipate potential legal challenges and proactively address them, offering a more strategic approach to client service.
Can you give us a practical example of how you have helped a client to add value to their business?
A practical example of how we’ve helped a client add value to their business involves a recent M&A transaction where we identified potential risks related to their investment in a new market. By detecting these risks early in the process, we were able to well-craft the transaction documents to protect the client’s interest by incorporating necessary safeguards. Entering a new market is always challenging for our clients, and we understand the importance of providing strong support to ensure full compliance with local regulations. Our proactive approach helped the client avoid unnecessary costs and potential legal pitfalls, enabling them to enter the market with greater confidence and maximize profitability from the outset.
