Position

Tomasz Zwoliński is a partner in Dentons’ Warsaw office and a member of the Banking and Finance practice team.

He specializes in banking and finance transactions with particular focus on project finance, export finance (with or without official support from export credit agencies), financing of PPP projects, financing of infrastructure, energy, international trade and factoring, general corporate lending, leveraged/acquisition finance and financial restructuring.

Tomasz has been engaged in key transactions financing Polish exports, highway construction in Poland and Ukraine, hotels and office buildings, as well as many industrial projects (some worth in excess of PLN 5 billion) service and residential developments. He also handles financing of renewable energy schemes in the auction support system.

Concerning leveraged/acquisition finance transactions he has advised private equity funds and their lenders on multiple LBO transactions and has advised a consortium of lenders on the financing of a PLN 500 million public tender announced on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Tomasz Zwoliński – Dentons

The banking and finance team at Dentons boasts extensive knowledge in the real estate and renewable energy industries, with particular expertise across project, acquisition, corporate and export financing, as well as regulatory and restructuring mandates. Corporate financing expert Bartosz Nojek and Mark Segall now jointly spearhead the practice since former practice head Piotr Nerwiński departed the firm in November 2024, with a team of six lawyers, including Paweł Długoborski  and Justyna Jamroży. Another key member of the team is Tomasz Zwoliński, who is dual-qualified in Poland and England. In other team news, Aleksander Haleniuk joined the firm from DLA Piper Giziński Kycia sp.k. at the beginning of 2025 alongside three associates, bolstering its expertise in infrastructure and energy finance deals, and Marta Piotrkowicz arrived from DWF Poland Jamka Sp.k.
