Career

Counsels foreign and domestic clients in civil, corporate and commercial laws generally, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial transactions and foreign investment. He also advises clients on commercial agreements, financings, project development and regulatory matters, including data protection.

Notable recent mandates include representing a leading distributor of consumer products in its acquisition out of bankruptcy of the “Munné” chocolate manufacturing business and intellectual property, in a landmark transaction resulting from insolvency proceedings under the country’s newly implemented restructuring and insolvency regulations. He also acted as counsel to Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI, S.A. (Aerodom), in a landmark US$940 million financing comprised of a simultaneous issuance of US$500 million in 144A bonds and US$440 million in syndicated bank facilities.

Mr. Marranzini received his Bachelor of Laws, Magna Cum Laude, from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), in 2010.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Global Business Law from New York University, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate & Financial Services Law from the National University of Singapore. In 2015, Mr. Marranzini completed a Dual Degree Master of Laws (LL.M) program in Administrative Law from the Universidad de Salamanca and the Instituto Global de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Sociales.
