Patricio is an associate of our firm since 2017. He is dedicated to advising domestic and foreign clients in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions with a special focus on mining and natural resources.
He has advised a wide range of foreign and local clients, providing comprehensive advice in all matters related to these areas, especially with exploration, development, financing, operation of mining projects, mine closures and related aspects.
He has actively participated in the main acquisitions, sales of mining companies and assets, as well as in the development and operation of numerous mining and energy projects from their initial exploration phase to their construction, start-up and expansions, including advice in the preparation of strategies for legal investment vehicles, incorporation of companies, project financing, preparation and negotiation of all kinds of contracts and agreements, as well as the preparation and negotiation of all types of contracts and agreements for the development and operation of mining and energy projects, from their initial exploration phase to their construction, start-up and expansions, preparation and negotiation of all kinds of contracts and joint ventures, due diligence, strategic alliances, procurement, surface property issues, processing of mining property and mining lawsuits, obtaining and processing of permits and authorizations from regulatory entities, and other areas related to these activities such as the development, processing and acquisition of water rights, community relations, port activities, regulatory and environmental aspects.

At associate level, senior Cristóbal Herrera is experienced in mining property-related constitution processes and judicial defences, as well as mining litigation; Patricio Turner also focuses on mining law work; María Belén Fuenzalida‘s practice includes project development; and Sebastián Manzur‘s experience covers foreign investments and financings.
