Career
Jorge Oria joined the firm in 1999 and was named partner in 2014. He has gained significant experience over the past 22 years, in energy, infrastructure and power transactions. He also has experience in acquisition and equipment finance, and arbitration related to energy and infrastructure projects.
Jorge’s practice focuses on representing sponsors, off-takers and local, multilateral and regional lenders, as well as equity and mezzanine investors in transactions within the power (renewable and conventional), oil and gas, transportation and water industries.
Jorge worked as a foreign associate at Milbank in New York (2006-2007).
