Regularly forming a multi-disciplinary, multi-office offering alongside lawyers from throughout the firm's international network, White & Case S.à r.l.'s nascent litigation team has hit the ground running since it was established in 2023. Most of the day-to-day work is handled by the 'calm, professional and responsive' Alexandre Hublet , who splits his time between the Luxembourg and Brussels offices. As well as handling a considerable amount of fund/finance-related litigation, Hublet has also advised on the Luxembourg/Belgian law aspects of some high-profile cross-border contentious restructuring matters.

Playing an increasingly important role within the firm's global private equity offering since it was formally established in March 2022, White & Case S.à r.l.'s small team provides 'commercially minded and pragmatic' advice to institutional firmwide sponsor clients, including CVC and Oaktree, on the applicable Luxembourg structuring in relation to global M&A transactions. Thomas Glauden takes the lead on much of the work, regularly working alongside colleagues from key European offices, including London, on real estate and infrastructure projects, inter alia. Splitting his time between Brussels and Luxembourg, Thierry Bosly co-heads the team alongside Glauden and has particularly strong ties with Belgian private equity sponsors.

Since its establishment in March 2022, White & Case S.à r.l.‘s Luxembourg office has quickly established itself as a vital partner to the firm’s global capabilities, regularly providing the local law structuring on high-value cross-border mandates for major firmwide corporate and private equity clients. The team, which is co-headed by Thierry Bosly and Thomas Glauden, both of whom split their time between Luxembourg and Brussels, is appreciated for its ability to provide ‘pragmatic solutions that align with business objectives’ and as well as being a welcome recipient of internal referrals is also beginning to originate its own deal flow.

With a growing core funds practice that was recently strengthened by the arrival in May 2024 of Emmanuel Gutton  from the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), and also able to draw upon fund-centric expertise across the office's corporate and tax practice groups, White & Case S.à r.l. increasingly has the resources to provide the necessary Luxembourg structuring to service the firm's institutional global funds clients. Many of these are private equity focused, where the team, that is headed by Arnaud Cagi-Nicolau, is appreciated for its 'ability to navigate complex international regulations, while offering pragmatic and business-oriented advice'.

Established in May 2024, following the arrival of Guilhèm Becvort from A&O Shearman, White & Case S.à r.l.'s nascent tax team works in a synergistic fashion alongside the office's growing funds and corporate functions to provide the relevant tax planning and risk management advice on complex, cross-border transactions.
