White & Case (Europe) LLP’s corporate and M&A team significantly expanded in April 2024 through the recruitment of Domenico Fanuele, Matteo Catalano, Davide Cavazzana and Giovanni Cirelli from legacy firm Shearman & Sterling. The practice also features the London and Milan-based Michael Immordino and experienced corporate, M&A and private equity lawyer Leonardo Graffi. Sara Scapin is another experienced practitioner. Maria Cristina Storchi and Andrea Pretti departed the firm in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

White & Case (Europe) LLP covers a range of cross-jurisdictional matters, including corporate governance issues, shareholding structures, organisational models, capital requirements, and other regulatory-driven deals. The financial services regulatory practice in Italy is led by Alessandro Zappasodi, who advises Italian and foreign financial institutions and investors on banking, financial, payment services and asset management regulations. Andrea Lamonica also has notable financial services regulatory experience. Licia Mongiello departed the firm in June 2024.
