Career

Po-Chien Chen’s practice focuses on complex cross-border litigation involving multijurisdictional disputes, and his clients include financial institutions, technology companies, energy companies, large manufacturers, and distributors. He has successfully represented litigations between financial institutions, including a foreign investment bank in an international syndication litigation involving a number of banks in Taiwan to secure a favorable judgment. He also successfully represented a foreign private bank in blocking the enforcement of a Taiwan arbitration award in Singapore and Hong Kong, which is the first case regarding such a claim in Taiwan’s arbitration history.
